Who We Are
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County operates five Clubhouse facilities in Bellingham, Blaine, Ferndale, Lynden and Lummi Island that provide varied, important and fun programs after-school and during the summer for children and youth in grades K-12. Boys & Girls Clubs are a membership organization, with an open door policy, affordable and accessible for all, and with a special emphasis on those kids who need us most. Our Clubs and programs stress academic progress and achievement, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. We also offer a county-wide youth athletics program (tackle and flag football, baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball) at our Clubs, at the Northwest Sports Complex and at numerous school and park sites. As a chartered affiliate of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we are a non-profit corporation, community supported, Board governed, operated by professional staff and supplemented by volunteers.
