Kailynn A. Wins Youth of the Year for
Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County!!!
Kailynn is a sophomore at Blaine High School where she is a member of the Girls’ Varsity Fast Pitch Team. She has been coming to the Blaine Club for six years. This past December Kailynn began working at the Club as a member of the Blaine Program Staff. She leads Imagemakers, Gardening Club and Cooking Club. Her favorite part about working at the Club is seeing all the smiles. One of her greatest role models is her Dad. She knows that the Club makes things a little easier for him because she and her brothers have a safe place to go. Kailynn doesn’t have to come to the Club but she chooses to, and we don’t know what we’d do without her!
Congratulations Kailynn on becoming Youth of the Year for Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County!
To be affordable to all youth, a general Club membership, which runs from Sept 1 - Aug 31, is $25 per child for the entire year. For more information on our Club programs, membership, and van pick-up services, visit our Programs and Services page.
